The 'Tax Refresher Program’ is a Two-Day program designed to build tax competency in business finance professionals - with or without having a background in core taxation.
This course is designed for professionals with non-core taxation background e.g., MBAs, CFAs, and Business Graduates, having practical exposure of working in business finance, planning, treasury, commercial finance, budgeting, and M&A strategy while lacking the rigor taxation acumen.
For professionals possessing core taxation background e.g. CA /ICMAs, the program is pertinent as a refresher/ update of tax course.
By the end of this program participants will be able to:

Capital Gain – 1.5 hours
Income from Other Sources – 1 hour

Losses & Group Taxation – 1 hour

Special Aspects of Income Tax Computation – 1 hour
Tax Regimes & Withholding Taxes – 2 hours

Over the past decade, Rajlain has engaged with a diverse clientele, both local and international, spanning across various industries. His portfolio ranges from Pharmaceuticals to FMCGs, E-Commerce, and Mobile Money Networks, demonstrating his adaptability and capacity to provide valuable insights in a broad spectrum of sectors.
In addition, Rajlain holds the role of Director at Ingenium, a leadership, finance, and digital learning specialist for corporates, and serves as a Partner at Redwood Global Services, an accounting outsourcing and advisory firm with a global presence in Canada and Pakistan. These roles represent his commitment to bridging the gap between expertise and application, aiding businesses in achieving their financial goals.
Rajlain's commitment to his profession extends to his service on multiple committees at ICAP. He is part of various committees, including the Professional Accountants In Business (PAIB) Committee and the Incubation Committee.
